The DNA of Minute Man Sportsman’s Club has always been trap and skeet but in 2015 a group of members proposed using the back side of club property to build a state of the art sporting clays venue. They worked tirelessly on design, permitting, fund raising and construction until in the fall of 2016 the first targets were shot on the course. Their dedication and foresight produced a new and challenging course to enjoy for many years to come.
There are currently 16 stations featuring MEC traps and Long Range computerized controllers. The equipment supports shooting alone as well as with friends. Each station has a menu of recommended targets but if you want to practice a certain target until you master the presentation that works also (please be courteous to other shooters if practicing a specific target and step aside to let others shoot if they are waiting).
The course is flat and an easy walk. Golf carts are available for rent if desired. Feedback from members and guests has been positive and the club has received many complements on the course and target presentations.
